SEO is ongoing work. People search on Google and maps for your trade. Your site needs useful pages, working links, and facts that match what your office actually tells customers. We assist your marketing team with content, technical cleanup, and reporting. We do not take over your campaigns or content calendar. We do not sell guaranteed rankings.

What we do

Google picks what to show. We fix what you control alongside your marketing team: pages that answer real questions, URLs that redirect correctly after a move, listings that match your website, and reports that tie search traffic to calls and forms your office tracks. Your team approves copy and priorities. We do not run your marketing alone.

What we don't do

We do not guarantee rankings, lead counts, click totals, or map placement. We are not responsible for how many calls or forms your site produces. We do not pad monthly reports or hide flat months behind jargon. Archi FX fixes what you can verify: service pages, redirects, listing mismatches, crawl errors, and reporting tied to calls and forms your office actually counts.

We can help with

Ongoing work, not a one-week launch trick.

  • Content: service pages, service areas, proof, and links that match how people search.
  • Technical fixes: 301 redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicals, Search Console coverage.
  • Local SEO: Google Business Profile, matching name/phone/address, and directory listings.
  • Reporting: Search Console and analytics your team can actually use.
  • Bi-weekly check-ins: web conference reviews on crawl errors, stale copy, competitor moves, and post-redesign cleanup.
  • Honest updates: we say what moved and what did not. No rank guarantees in writing.

We will not

Stated plainly, including in writing when asked.

  • Take full control: we assist your marketing team. We do not own your content calendar, ad accounts, or brand voice without your approval.
  • Guarantee rankings: no #1 promises, map pack locks, or lead counts written into a contract.
  • Pad the story: we do not inflate scores or hide flat months behind jargon.
  • Pretend nothing changed: if a query stalled or a competitor moved ahead, we say so plainly.
  • Shortcut the work: no bought links, fake reviews, or fifty copy-paste city pages.
  • Tell you what you want to hear: we would rather walk away than sign something we cannot defend in six months.

Problems we see often

Thin pages, wrong phone numbers on maps, broken URLs after a redesign. These are fixable. Open a card for the problem, what we do, and what to expect.

Empty service pages

Three generic sentences do not help a customer or Google.

The problem: Every city page is the same paragraph with the town name swapped. Nobody in the office can defend what it says. The visitor still does not know your hours, your brands, or how far you travel.

What we do: We rewrite or build pages around services and areas your team approves. Real headings, proof you can show, FAQs dispatch recognizes, links to related services. Content comes first. Technical fixes cannot save a blank page.

What to expect: Better pages over months. We start with URLs that already get traffic or support ads. Rankings still depend on competition and how Google displays results.

Maps and website do not match

Wrong phone, wrong hours, old address on a directory somewhere.

The problem: Google Maps shows a cell number. The website shows the main line. An old listing still has a closed shop. Customers call the wrong place.

What we do: We compare name, address, phone, hours, and service areas on your site, Google Business Profile, and major citations we can access. We align what your office confirms. We note what still needs a login we do not have.

What to expect: Fewer wrong-number calls. Cleaner local signals. We do not guarantee map pack placement.

New site, no redirect plan

Old links hit 404 pages. Search Console fills with errors.

The problem: A URL like `/services/plumbing-austin` became `/plumbing` with no 301 redirect. Bookmarks, directories, and Google still point at the old address.

What we do: We map old URLs to new ones before or during a migration. Permanent 301s, flat chains, noindex on junk parameters. We check Search Console after go-live.

What to expect: Google needs time to recrawl. We watch coverage and fix gaps. We do not promise traffic returns by a set date.

Bad sitemap or robots file

Google crawls dead pages or gets blocked from the whole site.

The problem: The XML sitemap lists staging URLs and deleted pages. Or someone deploys a robots.txt that blocks the entire site. Traffic drops until someone notices.

What we do: We keep sitemaps matched to live pages and submit them in Search Console. We fix robots.txt so admin and staging stay out of crawl without blocking customers. We use noindex when a page should not appear in search at all.

What to expect: Cleaner crawl reports. Google still decides what to index. We make your intent clear.

Same page, five URLs

www, non-www, slashes, tracking tags. Analytics splits. Rankings split.

The problem: Marketing uses one URL. The CMS prints another. Nobody agrees which link goes on the truck wrap.

What we do: We pick one official host and URL pattern. Redirects, canonical tags where needed, sitemap and internal links pointed at the same version.

What to expect: One URL to share. Cleaner reports. We move carefully so forms and admin do not break.

SEO stopped after launch

Competitors keep publishing. Your pages go stale.

The problem: Rankings were fine for a year, then slipped. Services changed but pages did not. Search Console warnings piled up. A plugin started creating thin archive pages nobody knew about.

What we do: We run SEO on a schedule: crawl errors, content updates, new locations, checks after WordPress updates, plain-language reports on what improved and what is stuck.

What to expect: Maintenance, not magic. No promised positions or lead counts. Honest data and a site you can defend.

Content comes first

Google rewards pages that help someone decide to call. One topic per page. Title matches the headline. Facts your crew can back up. We work with your team on copy. We do not invent credentials or promise featured snippets.

  • Service pages: what you do, where, how to reach you, what you do not do.
  • Service areas: real geography. Not fifty copy-paste city pages.
  • Proof: photos and certs your ops and legal teams approve.
  • Internal links: related services and emergency paths so people find the next page.
  • Structured data: only where it matches what is visible on the page. No fake markup.

Technical SEO work we handle

This is work customers do not see on the page: redirects, sitemaps, crawler rules, canonical tags, and Search Console cleanup. We implement it, document what changed, and test on staging when we can. It helps Google find and trust your site. It does not guarantee a rank.

Crawl and index setup

  • 301 redirects: after a redesign or URL change, old addresses send people and Google to the right page. We map what matters, avoid long chains, and verify in Search Console.
  • XML sitemap: a current list of live pages you want indexed, updated when pages are added or removed and submitted in Search Console.
  • robots.txt: tells crawlers what not to fetch (admin, staging). Different from hiding a single page on purpose. We use the right control.
  • Canonical URLs: when duplicate addresses exist, we point Google at the official version so reports and rankings are not split.
  • Pages kept out of search: thank-you pages, thin archives, and staging copies can use noindex when that is the goal.

Listings, speed, and cleanup

  • Search Console errors: we read coverage and exclusion reports and fix what we can instead of waiting until calls drop.
  • Mobile speed: we flag obvious slowdowns after theme or plugin changes so phones stay usable for homeowners searching on the job site.
  • Google Business Profile: categories, services, hours, and photos aligned with the site when you approve.
  • Directory listings: update major listings or flag ones we cannot access so name, phone, and address match.
  • Internal links: find orphaned service pages and broken links so Google and visitors can reach what you sell.

How ongoing SEO runs

First stretch is often fixes. Then content depth, new areas, watching competitors. On ongoing work we meet by web conference every two weeks so your marketing team and ours stay aligned on priorities, pending tasks, and what the data shows. Site size, market, and whether you run ads can adjust the pace, but we do not go dark between reviews.

  1. Audit: Search Console, analytics, redirects, sitemap, listing mismatches, top landing pages.
  2. Plan: technical fixes first, content gaps by service and city, what we need from your team (photos, boundaries).
  3. Build: page updates, redirects, schema, internal links. Often with web design or maintenance.
  4. Report: clicks and queries over time, new crawl issues, competitor pages worth a response.
  5. Repeat: refresh copy, add proof, adjust when Google changes the results page or your services change.

Dashboards we custom-make

Search Console and analytics feed proprietary reporting on what matters: queries, landing pages, and errors. Not a fake SEO score. Numbers swing with season, ads, and Google tests. We explain the context. Need Google wired from scratch? See Google services setup.

What you get

  • Fix list from Search Console and crawl data, not guesses.
  • Redirects, sitemap, and robots.txt matched to how the site works now.
  • Content updates your team can stand behind in the field.
  • Listing cleanup where we have access: site, Google Business Profile, major directories.
  • Custom dashboards tied to calls and forms you actually count.
  • Bi-weekly web conference reviews when you hire us for ongoing work, not a static PDF that sits in a folder.

What we do not promise

Same stance as above: no #1 ranking, no fixed lead count, no guaranteed map pack or rich results forever. Google and your competitors change daily. We fix your side of the house and tell you the truth when results flatline.

Stuff that can change without warning:

  • Google moves buttons and ads on the results page. Clicks shift even if position looks the same.
  • Competitors publish more or spend more on ads in your towns.
  • Algorithm updates favor different page types than last year.
  • AI answers cite some sites and skip others. We watch it. We do not control it.
  • Another vendor changes plugins, hosting, or ad landing pages and undoes work until someone catches it.

Want a straight SEO conversation?

Send your site URL, service areas, top services, and Search Console access if you have it. We start with crawl errors, content gaps, and listing mismatches. Then we propose ongoing work with clear limits. Pair this with web design and maintenance when the site itself needs work too.
